I have been working on this for the last few month, finally finished and thought I would share. I kept it original best I could. I was fortunate that tractor was not beat up. Only major rust was at bottom of hood under battery area. I repainted with Sherwin Williams Industrial enamel, safety red, off white and satin black, reduced with hardener added. The paint sprayed well with no problems. I know alkyd paints dont hold up too well in the sun . I waited two months and waxed heavily, tractor will spend most of its time in the barn anyway. The throw out bearing was bad and replaced clutch also while it was split. Mice ate much of the wire insulation under dash area but was able to repair. Wife has a vinyl cutter for sign work so we cut a few decals. My major expenses were two new front tires, a clutch plate, throw out bearing, ignition switch and paint. Anyway, it was fun and thought I would share.
