Yanmar 2000 2tr20a-a

I am purchasing an older model yanmar 2000 is what is written on it and on the data plate 2tr20a-a I'm paying $1400 and need to know if that's a good deal

As long as it looks like it has been reasonably maintained it should be a great deal. That price is pretty close to what we pay for a broke down salvage tractor.

I just paid $2000 for a 1500 and a 2000d, the 1500 was in pretty good shape short of a rusted up clutch and starter. The 2000d is pretty ragged and in the middle of an engine rebuild. So yeah, $1400 is a pretty good deal, if shes a runner.
