I installed a Parker Racor 120A fuel filter/water separator on my YM2000. I went with the 12T 10 micron filter. I can also use the 12S 2 micron filter but think that would be overkill and require replacement too often. Unlike the OEM filter it has a water drain. I made a bracket that I bolted to the fuel tank support bar. There is just enough room to fit the filter between the bell housing and the throttle linkage. I used a shut off valve from Anderson Brass in front of the filter. Since the YM2000 is the grey version of the YM240 it would likely fit that one as well. Second picture is the bracket I made bolted to the tractor before I attached the filter.
