YM2010D Knuckle problem
A couple of years ago I bought new seals for the front end of my tractor. Fixed the problem for a while but leaking again. Could the shaft be bent causing a separation in the knuckle joint. Will i need to take it apart to figure this out. Anyone else have this problem? I can see a gap in the knuckle...

Re: 4WD Tire issue
Thanks for the reply. Moved up to the 7.0-12 tires. Original ratio was 1.643-1. New tires are now at a 1.626-1. pretty dang close. The real issue was that the back tires were also bigger(11.2-24) instead of original (9.5-24) plus the original 7-12s were worn really bad so diameters were already alot...

Re: 4WD Tire issue
So, what Ive come up with is the static radius with a load on it changes slightly. In other words, the flattening of the tire with weight on it reduces the RCI slightly, which is why it is 78.8 on the 7.00-12,not 82(27.9x3.14)

Re: 4WD Tire issue
I can't figure out how they come up with that RCI. 26.9 x 3.14 is not 78.8

Re: 4WD Tire issue
So, would that be the best option if I chose to stay with a 12-in rim?

Re: 4WD Tire issue
Can you look one more tire up? What about a 7.00-12? How close is that?

Re: 4WD Tire issue
I know Aaron has them, but it's so expensive to ship. I may just dig around and see if I can find some. Are most 14" rims with 6 bolt hole fairly standard?

Re: 4WD Tire issue
I've come to that realization as well. I need to find some 14" rims now. I don't know why this tractor had 12s on it to begin with. Thanks for all the input.

Re: 4WD Tire issue
So, your saying that there should be some leeway with diameters? I would have thought that direct drive systems when engaged really was affected by the ratio.

Re: 4WD Tire issue
so, the diameter according to what Ive researched, on a 6-14, is 25.8". the 7-12 is 24". How could this tractor have been functioning with a 7-12 for what looks like a long time due to tread wear?

4WD Tire issue
I have a YM2010D and I need new tires for the front. Problem is, when I bought it, it has 7-12s on it. Now, specs call for a 6-14 for the front. I dont know where this guy found 7-12s. I cant. Also, when I bought it, it had 11.2-24 on the back. I believe the original tire was a 9.4-24...What in the ...

Re: Instrument panel
Ok. Sorry. I get 12.6 volts at battery while the tractor is running. Nothing meaning upwards of that indicating a charge going back to battery. I have to charge my battery manually. My meter obviously wasn't reading AC well, so I got a new meter and now when I test the wires at the Dynamo, I get 13....

Re: Instrument panel
Thanks for the info. However, I finally got a positive read on Dynamo, so now it's on to the regulator. Pretty sure that's the culprit

Re: Instrument panel
I was actually just looking at the 226 I found online. I think given that the gauges don't work as well, and I have power out of the dynamo, I'm inclined to thing the regulator is bad. It looks like the regulator has a red wire from it to the starter where it jumps back to to the battery thru the po...

Re: Instrument panel
Any chance a wiring diagram is out there? It might help me figure out if I have ANY power coming out of regulator and it may help show where my regulator goes to battery. It must hop on at the stater where + wire come from battery. There is no other wire going to my battery.
