Something odd is happening when I leave my tractor sitting for a week or so. When I crank it up and try to use my loader or three point it doesn’t work. My transmission works just fine. What i keep having to do is unscrew the hydraulic line from the joystick box on my loader and crank it up and let the fluid flow for a couple seconds, turn the tractor off and reattach the hydraulic line. Once I do that and crank the tractor back up everything works just fine. I have a yanmar 2210d with a koyker 120 loader.
Sounds like for some reason you are loosing prime on your pump. Any reason to think your suction line from transmission to pump could be sucking air anyplace? You have a rubber hose connection on it back toward the rear. Might want to check it closely if you haven't. Check other suction line connections making sure they are tight. See any leaks around the suction when setting?
That makes sense. I’ll check when I go back up there. I believe all my lines are steel though, maybe a bad Oring ?
I see what you are talking about now Winston. That thing got a part number?
Think I found it, called a hydraulic hose coupler
