Yanmar 3810D what type hydraulic fluid

Postby Tutbtaz861 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 8:09 am

I have a Yanmar 3810D 4 wheel drive tractor and am planning to change out the hydraulic fluid, The tractor uses the fluid for transmission and hydraulics. Just want to make sure I use the correct fluid. Thanks for any help.

I personally use Tractor Supply's Traveler brand. Very reasonably priced and I believe a good product. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/produ ... luid?rfk=1

A Yanmar 3810 has the 3T84 engine series with PowerShift. Thus, look at the tractors next-of-kin in the John Deere family that is Yanmar made. The JD-870 is a close match. Thus, the J20C is the best bet to get in North America.

The JD fluid listing can be found here:

The use Tractor Data to find the closest JD tractor configuration. :)

For a YM2500/YM2610, it's a perfect match up to a JD-850/950. Still, J20C is the the match.
