YM155D oil dipstick

Postby edh » Fri Apr 29, 2016 10:07 pm

So when returning the dipstick to it's hole in the block, the rubber stopper part became loose from the metal part allowing the metal part to go beyond where it's supposed to be. What I need to know is; what is the measurement from the bottom of the dipstick up to the bottom of the rubber part that hits the block when it's in it's normal state. Thank you.

I have a 1300D which is supposed to be similar to the 155D. But this won't help if the dipsticks aren't the same.

Bottom of dipstick to bottom of rubber piece - 6 5/8"

Bottom of dipstick to flat portion of rubber piece that contacts dipstick tube - 7 9/16"

This sight shows the same dipstick for the 155 and 1300. http://www.hoyetractor.com/PROD/ODS-1300.htm

Bless you boxcarbilly! The part #'s for the two tractors are the same. You just saved me some hard earned green backs! Thank you so much! Hopefully some day I can help you out as well.
