Steering cross refrence

Postby pigpen4x4 » Tue May 12, 2020 6:36 am

So a cat down the road (2 hours) has a Deere 750 4WD he is parting out.
Anybody think the power steering gear might fit on my YM3810D?
Please say yes, please say yes! :D :D
Men that don't know him won't like him and men that do sometimes won't know how to take him.
He ain't wrong he's just different but his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right.

I don't have a clue but do know some of the 3810's came with factory gearbox power steering.

Yea, my 3810 has P/S but it offers no assist.
I've been kicking around a hydro steering system,
but if his box will fit it would save re-inventing the wheel.
I know Yanmar made the Deere 750,
but which parts interchange I just don't know.
Are the steering gears similar, within type of course?

My power steering doesn't work and requires more effort than even manual steering.
I looked at a better picture and the seller's 750 uses a assist cylinder rather than a
power steering gear box, so I think I'll keep looking, and struggling... ;~)

Ok, my memory is not good these days, I remember your earlier thread now about your steering. I think your best bet is to find a parts tractor with the manual set up. If it were me I would tear into your current box. Probably not with any success but curiosity would get the better of me.
