YM1610D 3 point issue

Postby garya1963 » Sat May 09, 2020 3:59 pm

Cleaned screen, new fluid, inspected pump, fel worked great, but 3 point hitch is acting goofy. It stays up with it locked in place with valve between legs. I took control valve apart under seat, as it was stuck in the open position. I was able to get it to free up and while I was using it, it would only stay up at higher rpms. after a while, that control valve stuck open again and now my fel dont work. When I pulled the valve out to inspect it, it dont look like it has any of the replaceable orings as seen in parts diagram, or even a check ball....nothing......just the valve shaft and spring. Is it missing something?? Any help is appreciated!

Not Aaron but pretty sure the oil seal, an o-ring, maybe one spring and a circlip is about all you can replace. Not saying that won't fix it. Very close tolerances are required in this valve. If mine were acting up I would definitely take it apart and have a look see.
