YM1500 3 Point lift problem

Postby Rev. Joe » Wed May 06, 2020 12:33 pm

Lift stopped working so I changed fluid (replaced w/Warren 303 Tractor Fluid), cleaned filter screen and replaced Hydraulic lift valve located under seat, after about 2 hours of use the lift stopped going up. Any ideas on where to look for the problem would be a big help.

Does the oil look creamy or foamy when it stops working? It could be sucking air. Eventually it can get so much air in it that it wont work.

Yes, it did look a little foamy. How wood I go about locating the problem?

If your fluid level is good then air could come in anywhere along the suction line, most likely at rubber boot #14.
