Since I bought my tractor, it has been cold. While I first thought my decompression cable was working it wasn't, still tractor never failed to fire in 20 degree weather. Anyhow, when the tractor is cold, the transmission indicator light comes on when the tractor first starts in the cold, once running for about 30 seconds it comes off. I have noticed that in the 4th gear range, the powershift can be a little jumpy when shifting. Is there anything I can look at to smooth out the shifting a little and do I worry about the light when cold?
I finally changed the hydraulic fluid and cleaned the screen (wasn't too dirty). While it did make a slight difference, it's still a little jumpy in 4th. Does the 2820D have a spin on filter and if so....where is it located? Is there a part number where I could cross reference at a local auto parts store?
