YM2210 Starting

Postby teamroping1950 » Fri Jun 28, 2019 11:44 am

I recently purchased/installed new ignition switch (IS-52110) for my Yanmar 2210 tractor which did not correct my starting issue. Provided below are the actions I have taken to date.
1. Tractor will start using remote starter switch, indicating starter, solenoid and battery are functioning properly
2. Headlights do not operate
3. Inspected fusebox and fuses – No damage was observed
4. Bypassed clutch safety switch – Tractor will not start

Old switch was wired as follows:
1. ACC terminal – White wire traced to fusebox
2. IGN terminal – No wires attached to this terminal
3. BAT terminal - Black wire
4. ST terminal – Two (2) black wires and one (1) black/white wire

Assistance diagnosing my starting/switch malfunction would be greatly appreciated.
