Yes, it would really be nice to know what all the previous owner changed and why. Did you ever check the clutch disc to be sure it was installed correctly?

I got it back together and move but it only would go forward I have to press the diff lever by my right foot if I put in gear let out on the clutch it dosnt move ?? Only the right wheel turns
I do not have the 4X4 shaft in would that cause it ??
The clutch engages I have to turn idle down so it dosnt grind gears

Not sure I am understanding. Are you saying the tractor will not move until you engage the differential lock? And then only the right wheel turns? Is it jacked up or how do you know only the right wheel turns?

Yes only moves when I press down on diff lock I know because I got stuck in the mud. It’s not jacked up I would think I should be able to put it in gear and let out the clutch and it should move I have to turn the idle way down to get it in the gear if it’s up at all it grinds real bad. I’ve got the clutch adjusted so far that the arm taps on the bell housing so I don’t have any more adjustment into the clutch

Still not completely sure I am understanding but if only the right hand wheel will turn when lock is down then it sounds like your left hand pinion shaft (stub axle) is broken.

Evidently something still wrong in your clutch, however, I am unable to advise from here.

I'm a little confused on exactly what all is going on also but, yes I agree- sounds like the stub axle is broken (fairly common if the diff lock is engaged while one wheel is spinning).

The clutch problem is going to be tough to help on without being there. Since it came to you that way we just don't know what all was changed before. I will say that I don't see any way the original clutch could have worked since the pressure plate fingers are inverted and the hub of the clutch disc appears to protrude beyond the fingers (aka - the release bearing would hit the clutch hub before pushing the fingers). So what happened or what was changed to cause that might explain your current clutch problems. I'm assuming your picture below was taken before you did anything to it?

Did it look like anyone had been in there before? Did it look like the flywheel could have been turned to clean up some wear or damage?

I Have it back together just when I put it in gear and let out the clutch doesn’t go anywhere if I turn the idle way down and step on the lever by my right foot it will go

That is most likely a broken brake stub shaft

I have to turn the idle way down to get it in the gear if it’s up at all it grinds real bad. I’ve got the clutch adjusted so far that the arm taps on the bell housing so I don’t have any more adjustment into the clutch

This sounds like there is still a clutch problem.

So when I bought this tractor the brakes were so corroded in water damage from a leaking gasket that they were locked up so we had to drag it forcibly onto the trailer I think during that we probably broke something
Maybe if I open it up and see if that is broke that I will behave differently because I think the one that is broken is the main drive wheel and the other one is for when you lock the diff Hopefully the parts won’t cost too much
