2210 Fuel Injector

Postby capnkelly » Fri Jan 25, 2019 8:19 pm

I am replacing the head on my 2210D and have a question/need advice/need help on the injectors. I have removed the injectors from the cracked head, cleaned and am about to install them on the new head. Will I have to have the injector chamber upper and bottom pressed in at a machine shop, or is this something that I could do? Also, could I remove the upper and bottom from the old head and install on the new one?

I have not removed any of these but from reading the 220/226 repair manual I am confident you should be able to install them. Just make sure you get the correct washers and gaskets under them. https://www.hoyetractor.com/support/kno ... rticle=103

They don’t need to be pressed in. They just slide in and are held in by the injector. You should buy new copper washers for them though. Hoye has them.
