Postby imdawat » Tue May 01, 2018 7:01 pm

YM 1720D 4WD. What size spindle nut socket does it take to install/remove the wheel stub axle nut (PART # LN-30)? Where can I buy one? Thanks

The LN-30 is a spanner nut. You typically just use a punch in the grooves and tap the nut around until it gets loose.

I was hoping for something like this since the last guy beat on this nut so bad he ruined it.

If you could find one in the right size it would work great. I don't see any sizes listed though. Of course... a new nut is only $5 and that socket is $49. Seems kind of expensive for a one time use tool.

Something like this might be a little more universal but I dont know if you could get it tight enough (or get a tight one loose).
