3 Point Hitch Kit Install Issue

Postby LonnieCole » Fri Mar 09, 2018 7:04 pm

Hi All

I have submitted a ticket to Hoye Tractor but I thought I would ask here since it may be Monday before I hear anything back. I purchased a 3 point hitch kit from Hoye for my YM2020D. I read the kit install instruction web page but the way the pictures show to install the stay chains don't work on my tractor. The kit lift arms have 3 mounting holes and the instructions show the side links attaching to the middle hole and the stay chains connection to the inner hole (i.e. the hole closest to the tractor). The stay chains that I received with the kit are WAYYY to long to mount to the inner hole. I wound up installing the stay chains in the outer hole and still had to bypass 3 or 4 links in the chain to get them to fit.

Am I doing something wrong or is the way I have the kit installed ok? Does anybody have a picture of a 2020D 3 point setup?

Thanks
Lonnie

You are doing it correctly. The chains come extra long so that you can adapt them to your individual setup.
