YM1500 using pond scoop

Postby Hnewman144 » Wed Mar 07, 2018 11:30 am

Looking at buying a used 3 point dirt scoop for my ym1500. Has anyone ever used one of these on there 1500? Does it lift high enough to allow the scoop to dump? Not looking to do alot of dirt work with it just mainly cleaning out stalls.

I have used one on a YM2002D which is not much larger than your 1500. I think you could dump without problems.

The question is whether the scoop has a dump function. If it does, the angle will be enough to release most of the contents but you may have to prod a bit because (at least on those I've seen) the dump angle won't be as high as a front bucket's.
