Reminder if Your Tractor will be Sitting

In some locations snow removal's over and mowing hasn't started, so the tractor sits. If it will be unused for a week, you can use the metal wire clip on the clutch pedal shaft to lock it down. If no clip, find another way because it could prevent a stuck clutch. (Don't know if this is common to all tractors or peculiar to Yanmars.)

It happened to my '63 stick shift Ford following a hurricane. Pushed up against a tree, in gear, clutch in, hit the starter a couple of times, broke free.
