hydraulic issue with auger drive

Postby smack350 » Fri Jan 26, 2018 9:07 pm

Hi I have recently purchased Yanmar vio55 excavator approx. 2010 model and are having trouble with getting auger drive to spin and the torque , can anyone tell me if there is a valve , change over or something that I have missed to get it to run properly the auger drive is an augertorque 3000 I was running tilt bucket and wondering if the pump settings have been adjusted to suit the bucket operation at a slower rate , when I use the left foot pedal to drive the auger it doesn't seem to have the pressure required to run the boring attachment.

Just a guess based on tractors with hydraulics problems. Drain fluid, find/remove/clean/put back the internal screen filter, change external spin-on filter (if there is one) with the exact right kind, and make sure it's the right fluid (maybe not hydraulic oil but hydraulic/transmission fluid) and right amount. If that doesn't help, you can find dealers by googling yanmar excavators.
