Hi everyone thanks for the add.
Parked our little tractor on a slope left side down for 2 or 3 days and now it won't move under its own power. Checked oil and topped it up and still won't go. So moved it so right side is downhill. It will rock itself once clutch is off but won't move other then a small moment and be stationary
Can anyone point me in a direction to check, please?
Thank you kindly

More info needed. If we can assume the engine runs does the PTO, or any hydraulics work?
Re: Yanmar small tractor ef352 won't move in gear.
As Norm stated, not enough information. My research shows the EF352 to be a geared transmission with a synchronized reverser. I can't see any of that being affected by sitting on a hillside. The EF352H is hydrostatic, making sure yours is an EF352.

"... It will rock itself once clutch is off..."
Sorry, don't quite get this.

Thanks guys.
Hydraulics work, pto works, once you put it into gear it will move a little, once you take clutch off. Then rolls back. Pretty sure it is a hydrostatic drive. Will look at it when I’m near it again?

If it is hydrostatic you would only need the clutch to engage the pto. Have you used the pto with a load? Big difference with shaft just free wheeling or in a loaded condition.
If it is hydrostatic I would ask how long since a fluid and filter change?

Quite recent service, not sure about filter. I did put some fresh oil in, still no change! Going to presume the dreaded pressure relief spring syndrome!

Re: Yanmar small tractor ef352 won't move in gear.
Well, where do I start? Walked over to said tractor, started it, tried to get it to move, still no go! Walked about 50 metres to get socket set and rattle gun, walked back, took transmission protective cover off, tried to work out what does what, so I decide to move the gear lever on side of steering wheel console, forward and back, won’t go! So I pushed in clutch and selected forward, let clutch out by hand, thing moved! Said tractor had been running for approximately 10 mins! Parked with right hand side down hill for the last 2 weeks! So I moved it back to campsite and on flat ground!
Only thing I can think of is it had an airlock when it was parked left side down and all the oil drained out of everywhere. When I filled it up some, and moved it so right side was down, it’s helped purge the air out of system! Then letting it run for those 10 minutes it self bled the drive pump and system.
Note to ones self, park on flat ground not on a slope!
