How do you remove combustion chambers? New fiber washer did not help

Never done it but can tell you what the 220/226 repair manual says: First remove the injection nozzle. Then using any suitable tool with a hook on one end, withdraw rear chamber, rear copper washer, front chamber and front copper washer. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Probably not though. The bottom or front chamber has a tongue on it that must align into a slot in the cylinder head to assure correct angle of injection.

Lastly, it goes on to say if the precombustion chamber cannot be removed as described above, it will be necessary to remove the cylinder head and drive out the chambers using a suitable soft driver. Never use a steel driver.
