You can find out what years each model line was in production, but Yanmar doesn't disclose an individual tractor's birthdate (and won't offer any help at all with a grey-market model). When owners need to declare a year, they guess. If you want to be foolproof, write "1978 (est.)"

You probably won't find it. Some say it was stamped in the wheels, but no guarantee/not likely you have the same wheels after dismantling for shipment in containers with 4-8 other tractors.
