Just ordered a new crankshaft for the JD1050 that I'm doing an engine rebuild on. I got to the point where I was ready to drop it in the engine and noticed that the flywheel bolts for the old OEM crank don't fit in the new one from Hoye. It seems like there might be a different thread pattern on the new crank. Has anyone run into this before? I can't seem to find the accompanying flywheel bolts on the website.
John Deere does show two different part numbers:
CH10364 (No detail provided)
&
CH20081 (M10 X 1.25 X 41)
It does appear there might be a break in parts between serial numbers. Units below S/N 11,000 apparently only use CH100364. My unit is above S/N 11,000.

Do you have means to check size and thread pitch of your not fitting bolts? Would look like you need the M10-1.25x41
Re: JD1050 Flywheel Bolts
Got the new bolts this weekend from JD. They are indeed slightly different and turn right in. Go figure.
