I have a Yanmar YM2310D, starts / runs great but when I go to shut it off I can't just push the throttle level forward to stop the engine. I have to first rev up the engine RPMs and then quickly push the throttle level forward. When it's warm out I can sometimes have to rev up / rev down multiple times before the engine will completely stop.
My understanding is the YM2310D utilizes a fuel shutoff valve off the throttle lever, is there something that needs to be adjusted so I can just push the throttle lever forward to shut the tractor off?
Obviously having to rev up / down to shut something off could be very dangerous in certain situations

Thanks in advance!
