Have a 2210 BD that loses power after a couple months. Nave new liners, pistons & rings. Torqued correctly then retorqued and found I had to retorque a third time. after a few months I'm losing power and it is smoking black on start up and seems to be missing or weak on 1 cyl (again). I am having this problem over and over. No oil in water nor water in oil
I am befuddled! I really like this machine and need some suggestions please.

losing power, again

Re: losing power, again
I would try cracking the injector line on one cylinder at a time while running (being careful) and find which cylinder is weak. If you can verify a weak cylinder then make sure good supply of diesel to that cylinder. If so then maybe switch injectors on bad and good cylinder and see what happens. Hope this makes some sense.
Re: losing power, again
Injectors are New as well but Thanks.

Do you know which cylinder is weak?
Re: losing power, again
Black smoke is often a clogged muffler. See post below
