3T90T-J Piston Direction

Postby tjrigario » Thu Jan 21, 2021 6:32 am

Does anyone happen to know if the pistons in the 3T90T-J engine are directional? The service book I have says there should be TA marks that need to face the camshaft, but I can't find any directional marks on the piston. There is some writing underneath, but nothing that looks like it would indicate direction.

I don't know but would probably go with this if no more information comes up. https://www.hoyetractor.com/support/kno ... article=95

They are not directional but, as the knowledge base says, if you are re-using a piston then it should go back in the same way it came out (so it wears the same I guess).
