crankshaft removal ym3810d
I have a YM3810D I want to know if anyone can tell me if The crank shaft can be removed leaving the engine on the frame and separating at the flywheel housing by supporting both halves and rolling the front half forward.

I don't have a manual on the 336 but do have one on the 226 and the 276 and the motor has to be removed on both in order to remove the crankshaft. Pretty confident your 3810 will be the same.

Never done this so what im thinking is remove radiator.. hydraulic line to rear section and drive shaft for 4wd and anything else.. support rear section , support front section on 4 wheel dolly then disconnect at flywheel housing . then roll forward . this will give me access to front and rear of engine and access to bottom as needed, if I support properly! could this work? what problems may I see here.

I agree taking radiator and everything off the front will lighten and make removal from clutch housing easier. This video by Aaron for clutch replacement might be worth viewing if you haven't already. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVb58N-gdhU

This is large job your undertaking and lots of opportunity to hurt yourself or damage a component. I've always found when undertaking something large that in total you're better off removing as much "stuff" as you can so you get open and full access to everything. This can add a lot of time taking it off and putting it back on but it makes the repair phase go much smoother and more enjoyable.
