Postby Rickc » Tue Jan 05, 2021 8:43 am

Hello I've got ym2000 with 2tr20a-a. I've put new sleeves rings had head done. Got running but smokes white smoke. And smells like to much fuel. I've put new injector s in it. Thanks for any help. Rickc

No answers, just questions. Have you tried loosening injector line to each cylinder to try and identify which cylinder might be weak? Have you ruled out coolant in cylinders? Did you have the injection pump out for any reason?

Did you do this after the white smoke or before? Valves adjusted at .006"?

That would be my guess. Why are you adding shims?

I thought if its pumping to much fuel you shim the fuel pump out

Shims are what changes the timing. Each .0039" shim changes timing appx 1 degree. Adding shims will retard your timing.

If you have the original amount of shims and same pump then timing should be correct. You can check it if you think your up to it. Instructions on page 48 of this 195 manual. Very close to your 2000. file:///C:/Users/linwinmaberry/Downloads/YANMAR%20YM195%20SERVICE%20MANUAL.pdf
