I have a tractor Yanmar YM1810D, and we need to change the brake shaft bearing, unfortunately we cannot find any help, do anyone from this support board came across this problem.. The bearing is damaged and needs to be replaced, the one in the brake housing not the one inside the rear axel...

All the information that i found was for the rear axel and not for the brake bearing, wrt the rear bearing only till the collar is found...

Could you please help

Regards

ian

I think you will need to remove the rear axle so that you can get the big bull gear out of the way so that you can remove the brake housing. The big bull gear goes into the slot (highlighted) in the casting which prevents it from being removed unless that gear is out of the way.
