Yanmar 1510D

Postby carlball » Fri Nov 13, 2020 10:01 am

I am new to this board and am hoping to find some answers. I have a Yanmar 1510 D tractor. The bell housing broke due to a backhoe attachment. I separated the remaining piece of the bell from the motor and the rear piece from the transmission. Welded the Bell and reinstalled being sure to align the drive shaft in its respective splines. Started it up, put it in gear and it will not move. Does the pump on the side of the motor have anything to do with the transmission shifting. What am I not doing?
Thanks
Carl

No, the pump on the side of the motor is hydraulic lift or used on accessories. Power shift transmission has it's own pump. Are you confident the clutch is engaging? Pto work with power? https://www.hoyetractor.com/CTGY/YM1510 ... FTPUMP.htm
