YM 140 leak

Postby chip » Tue Sep 29, 2020 5:17 pm

I have a YM140, 4wd that has developed a leak at the input shaft of the transmission. After removing the assebly, it appears to be a gear pump. there is a bushing of sort over the splined shaft that rides inside the seal. Was wondering if anyone had part numbers or a place to get new parts from?

Looks like the 140 is a geared transmission. If that is correct I can't imagine a pump being inside the transmission. Would think this would be the splined coupling. https://www.hoyetractor.com/PROD/SC-2618.htm

I'm sure Hoye could identify the seal.

Are you sure it is a 140 and not a 147?

I'm not sure it's a 140. That's just what the hood says. But the diagram for the power shift pump looks correct

It looks like part b and 12. Not sure if 4 and 10 are o rings or snap rings. Can only find 1 snap ring on the shaft
