YM3810D power steering FIXED!

Postby pigpen4x4 » Wed Aug 19, 2020 1:04 pm

So back in October I posted about my power steering not
having any assist making it harder than manual steering.
I was ready to build a hydro steering system but first
I decided to pull apart the steering gear.
There were 2 pins broken inside, one rotated the cage valve
and the other the spool valve that follows the cage valve.
I had a machinist notch and drill for the spool valve and size new pins.
Man what a difference!!
I Love it!

He drilled a new hole about 10° away from the damaged hole and a new notch in the spool valve perfectly aligned with the new hole.
I didn't get any pictures of that though.... ;~(
Men that don't know him won't like him and men that do sometimes won't know how to take him.
He ain't wrong he's just different but his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right.
