Ym2000 Hydraulic Issues

Postby rbetts » Sat Jun 13, 2020 7:00 am

I’ve recently purchased a Yanmar YM2000. Perfect tractor, very pleased so far. Recently I was making adjustments to how my bushhog was being lifted (slightly unlevel) and some wheel adjustments to get rear of bushhog more ground clearance. The problem now is the hydraulics will only hold an up position. The handle slowly drops down. I’ve drained fluid , cleaned filter screen. I do not see anything visual here, where do I start?

I am not fully understanding. You say the handle (#49) slowly drops down. Notice the line of hardware that friction washer #58 is on. If all that hardware is intact you might need to tighten the double nuts (#s 60 & 61) a bit to put more resistance on the handles movement.
