Re: Tyre Size 1610D

Where in OZ are you? In Victoria Tyres and more can get Ag tyres if you go and order them, they helped me out no worries. I've tried the reps in NSW and although Bridgestone list the 5.00-14 , they do not import the tyre into Australia so they tell me. Could you possibly post the brand and size you...

Re: Tyre Size 1610D

Why is everyone so literal? "Past their use by date" as in, every couple of hours use, I end up with a flat.

Tyre Size 1610D

My front 5.00-14's are past their use by date, South Sun Brand, I am having trouble finding that size replacement over here, OZ. Due to being 4WD I have to go with the same size I presume or can I go up to a 6-14? Any suggestions or brand names I can take to my dealer to try and find? Happy to stay ...

Seat rubber supports flexing.

anyone found a solution to this? I helecoiled them so they no longer slip of the studs, but they still seem to bend and change position. They aren't perished and are in good nick, just too flexible. Yeah, before anyone says so, lay off the donuts is not a solution! :D

1610 4wd usage

I find when using the FEL even with an implement on the back or just using the slasher I am constantly needing to engage 4WD either for pushing or reversing as the rear tyres just spin and start digging holes. Is the 4wd in these tractors designed as a "get out of the poo" element or can t...

Re: 1610D questions

Sutto55 PS where in Oz are you? Central QLD, I see now, my stickers are long gone, might be handy for pushing wattle tr...

Re: 1610D questions

Reading the owners manual and it mentions 3 range positions and 12 forward gears and 4 reverse, including a creep on the powershift? Have I been short changed, I count 3 range positions and a neutral and no creep on the powershift which gives me 9 forward and 3 reverse?? Creep gear is normally lock...

Alt belt size?

Hi again, can anyone confirm that the belt size on a YM1610D is a A870/A33 ? Seems to be bugger all room for adjustment at that size and I'm finding non standard gear on my tractor which is making replacement parts ordering a PITA! Thanks again.

Re: 1610D radiator

just a follow up on this, head is off and getting valves ground, gasket had failed in 2 places and had been shot for sometime, but all else looks good. I received the manuals and parts from Hoye to Oz in good time and was pleasantly surprised how easy the motor was to pull down, took about an hour a...
