Re: 1510D quick connect hitch

I used a harbor freight on my 2002D. Only guessing it wasn't much different than your 1510D.

Is DVLA in Louisiana? The 2002D was only manufactured 2 years, 1982, 1983. Only chance you have of coming closer than those two years is looking for a date on your rear wheels. You might and might not find one. Copy this and take it to them. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/002/4/2/2429-yanm...

Re: noisy shift gears YM1500

Not sure what the "noise of wheels" is? Sometimes the geared transmissions can be binding and a little movement is required to free them or sometimes a little movement is required in order to line up the gear teeth. This not happening when shifting to any other gears?

Left side of the dash, you don't need to remove anything, if you look up under the left side you can see it.

Re: 6-14 tire diameter

Possible pictures of your valve and hoses? Sounds like your hydraulics is going through those hoses so be careful and don't stop that flow because of dead heading possibilities. Do those hoses come off the same location as this loop hose shown on my old 2002D?

Re: 336D year from SN?

I have never read anything to indicate the Yanmar serial numbers could be traced to a certain year. I would think based on your posted information that you have an early model.

Re: Ym1610d what does that little box by the voltage regulator do?

If this is the black box you are talking about it controls the power to the themostart element, nothing else. I can't tell you just how it works but when mine was working it caused the thermostart and themostart light to automatically go off after a period of time when holding the key to the left po...

Sounds to me like you have a good understanding. Just make sure you do not dead head your hydraulics when disconnecting things.
