I know this is an old post but my 1810D is exhibiting the the same symptoms after a particularly rough brush hogging session. Was it indeed the coupler Wiseman? Did you do the repairs yourself? Is it hard to split the tractor? I don't even know if my tractor has the same setup. Thanks for any info.
Yep Winston, that's my dash. With the sheet metal completely removed you can even see 2 of the 5 studs holding the dashboard in place. I can't reach the lamp holders through the access panel mostly because I have large hands and they are located directly behind the steering column. Also it's just aw...
Thanks Winston. They may very well be the same dashboard and I can easily remove the access panel, but the second illustration shows easy access to the light bulbs and that is simply not the case unless you can remove the dashboard. I checked the body parts listed at Hoye Tractor for both the 1810 a...
I need to have access to the backside of the dashboard to troubleshoot some electrical issues (oil pressure light, gen light, horn, etc). Through the access panel below the steering wheel with an inspection mirror, I can see some nuts holding the panel in place. Is this the only way to gain access. D...
How do you get the dash panel off? I'm having similar issues on a YM1810D. It has a small panel that can be removed below the dash, but you really don't gain access to much through it. It looks like I may have to pull sheet metal and the fuel tank to gain access.
I have a similar issue with my YM 1810D. I was working the loader pretty hard the other day and all at once the lift wouldn't lift a load. It will however lift an empty bucket. I suspect the control valve too because the curl and 3 point work as they should. Good idea to swap the curl and lift lines...
I found a formula for determining front axle lead, but I need to know the front/rear drive train ratio for the ym1810d. I don't find it in the manual. Anyone know what it is or where I can find it. Thanx
I stand corrected. Somehow I missed page 2. Thanks Aaron. The emblem does not not have a D in it, but the tractor is a 4 wheel drive. Anyone wanna swap some 7x14's for some 5x14's?
Thanks Winston. Yes, the owner's manual has a wiring diagram, but doesn't explain how to gain access to the backside of the dash. If I have to remove all the sheet metal and fuel tank, I think I'll just work in daylight. Thanx.
