Re: Metal Piece in Hydraulic Fluid

I looked through all the John Deere 750 transmission part drawings and I couldn't find anything that looked similar to your piece. Is it about 1/4" diameter?

Re: Speed Control Lever

"When I adjust this system should the speed control lever be positioned at the detent just before the engine shut off position?"

Re: Tractor has started to shimmy when at top speed on road

The way I adjust the steering box is to jack up front end so it easlily spins. Then tighten steering box slowing turning complete side to side getting slack out but not to the point of feeling it beginning to bind. Hope that makes some sense.

I know that some if not all of the F series have one time use head bolts. Are you aware of that?

Re: Yanmar 1401 gears

I was thinking machine shops could sometimes straighten shafts. I know I would make an attempt.

Wow, something amiss but I don't know what. Have you watched this video just making sure things are going together correctly. https://www.hoyetractor.com/ClutchVideo.htm

Just read your latest post and it seems to me there should be no doubt you know how it goes together.

Re: Bubbles in radiator

I don't have a good answer for you but I have pretty much concluded these machines will not tolerate overheating in the least, especially when working hard. I don't know how many head gaskets Hoye sells in a year but I would venture to say it would be a big number.

Re: YM1601d Alternator light stays on

You can check the dynamo with a volt meter. pull plug close to dynamo, with meter set to ac volts touch leads to wires from dynamo. Doesn't matter which one to which one. With engine running you should be getting 14+ ac volts. It should vary with speed of engine. If that test comes out positive you ...
