Re: YM2000 REBUILD 2 cylinder

Low compression could be caused by leaking valves or cylinder ring wear. Head gasket could cause it. Are you getting any bubbles in your overflow bottle? Do you have excessive blow by out the crankcase vent? Your engine is not complicated. You could do it if you have overhauled a car engine. I don't...

Re: Am I running too cool?

I would want to check the temperature gauge. Just sounds awfully low to me.

Re: Yanmar 2001D 4X4

Not sure what difference it would make but looks to me the throw out bearing is installed backwards. Maybe Aaron will comment.

Re: 1720D ROPS - just need the top piece

Don't mean there aren't a lot of them out there but that is the first round stock rops I have ever seen on a Yanmar.

Re: 1720D 3 point hitch issue

Should be a way to tighten these or replace. https://www.hoyetractor.com/PROD/194310-47790.htm

Maybe tighten double nuts 64/65 a little or maybe bolt and nuts 61-1 with nut 62.

page out of 1820 manual which I believe may be like your 1720. If not, disregard my comments.

Re: No reverse in my 1510d even after fluid change

Assuming nothing wrong with your shifting linkage then I would suspect the main relief valve. Taking this idea out of a 226 service manual trouble shooting section. Might check the spring and for trash.

Re: Run away diesel

Do you have much blowby out the crankcase vent? If so, likely low compression.

Re: My mistake tractor is 1510d not 1610d no reverse, need fluid change

#8 is the drain plug. Your strainer is behind #16. #5 is a 1/8" pipe plug in the bottom of the brake housing. Shouldn't be oil in there, wouldn't hurt to pull them just assuring nothing in there. Notice the vent tube at the top of that housing.

Re: New battery, clean terminals on both ends- no turn over

But a starter problem would not cause this: If I disconnect one of the terminals and reconnect sometimes I'll see the red instrument lights until I turn the key over - then nothing at all. Your right, but I would still have the starter checked, an easy project. Or maybe just check it with jumper ca...

Re: 226 d three point issue

Completely closed only when wanting to lock the 3 point in up position. It is called a stop and slow return valve on the 226, depending on weight of implement it can be adjusted for downward speed. To get started open it wide open counter clockwise.
