Re: YM195 with Koyker 110 loader won't raise

Not dropping any faster than that would indicate your loader cylinders are in pretty good shape. I would recommend buying a gauge and checking your pressure. Relief valve should be set at 2200 psi. I think you have a plug on your diverter valve that can be removed to do the check. Gauges are not tha...

Re: Tire question

I would advise against it. Looking at Carlisle 9.5-16 at 35" diameter and Carlisle 8-16 at 31.3". I believe that much difference is going to have a bad effect on your 4 wheel drive gearing.

Does the loader drift down quickly when you kill the engine?

Re: Alternator output?

Hello I'm new here! I have a John Deer 650 and I also have issues with the voltage regulator going out?? Thanks to the information on this board I believe the issue can be corrected, I purchased a 4 inch pully and I'm mounting it on the old Alternator. I will post the pictures and pulley informatio...

Re: Tire rubbing

No, the 30" is not to wide, just need to make whatever adjustments needed to hold it sideways.

The pins can be turned around on many of those scoops. Can't know about the one you have.

Re: 1401D - Slow bucket on FEL

Has this problem always been there or is it new? Are the lift cylinders and dump cylinders the same size? Can't see the dump cylinders in your pictures. I believe the adjustment on the control lever assembly is probably a relief valve setting and should have nothing to do with your problem. I am thi...

Re: Front wheel bearings on YM1610

Norm, you may be right but these are not tapered roller bearings. They are radial ball bearings. https://www.hoyetractor.com/CTGY/16102wd.htm

Re: 1401d Front axle problems

Yours is the style on the right on the diagram Aaron pasted. If you remove the steering arm (similar to this https://www.hoyetractor.com/PROD/SA-1700.htm), I believe the whole bottom half of the knuckle will come out. Don't let it fall on you, it is heavy.

Re: Front wheel bearings on YM1610

I can tell you the 226 manual states tighten to 7.2 to 8.5 ft lbs. I would guess your 1610 would be about the same. If slots in nut do not line up with cotter pin hole, remove nut and use different size washer, so that torque remains the same and pin hole lines up.

Re: 1401d Front axle problems

Have not been there, done that. Just looking at the parts drawing I am guessing #64 gear has dropped down in the housing. Maybe just need to figure out how to start axle shaft through it and then lift it up??

I have no information on the 1601. I'm thinking you probably have a parts manual, what does it show?

Re: Smoke question for the experts - 2210

No, I do not know of any. Try Norms suggestion, might work and as he states, not a big loss if it doesn't. Reading back over all this I am understanding this blow by just started and stared abruptly? Was there any unusual noise at the time this happened? My mind runs all over the place but just wond...
