Re: Repurposing the battery water level light?

I don't know how many models had the light, I know my old 2002D did. However, don't know of anyone that actually had one hooked up. I assume it had to be used with a battery that had connections made for it.

Re: Unusual Hydraulic Issue

Was hoping you might live closer but didn't work. I live in the Longview/Tyler area of Northeast Texas. I am thinking your 1810 probably had provision for a cable controlled draft control for a tiller. 100_5034.JPG Wouldn't doubt yours is very similar to my old 2002D shown here. Yours is plumbed as ...

Re: Unusual Hydraulic Issue

Yep, the written word isn't the perfect form of communication. :D I meant that the "loading" takes place when the FEL is operated. I'm beginning to wonder if I might have a control valve issue as the small leak is coming from the side where the valve is located, i.e. the side where the ha...

Re: Yanmar 1500D red front axle

Use the one you attached, I don't think it would be fair to this sight to attach manufacturer's numbers.

I can tell you the 226D holds a little over 5 quarts. I would think the 1500D would be a little less but go by the dipstick.

Re: kinda off topic...

Did a little googling on your question but don't have an answer for you. I would say if you find the required specs for your truck oil and the diesel oil meets those specs then it would be ok. I have used Walmarts supertech oil for several years with no problems. I use it in my old 2003 chevy 3/4 to...

Re: Unusual Hydraulic Issue

The pump should not put a load on the engine unless the loader or 3 point is activated. Maybe not what you are saying, sometimes typed words can be hard to interpret.

Re: White smoke on startup.

I don't believe it would be considered normal for one with everything in good shape. I have been around several and none had the white smoke at start up. Maybe a little black smoke right at crank up. Having said that I would go on to say if the tractor was cold, cranked right up on just a few spins ...

With the new pump will the loader still only lift a 100lbs or so?

Re: YM 226 cranks but wont run

I really don't have a definite answer for you. Looks like the large part of the adapter is about same diameter as the injector but picture could be deceiving. I did notice there are different adapters, supposing you got the right one for your model?
