Re: YM146 is hard to start

Most of my YM146's (I have 3 that run and one parts machine) all start like that as well. I'm putting new batteries in two of them this spring. All the YM146's and GT14's have glow plugs. Something tells me most of them fail, as none of mine start that willingly. I have to crank mine for usually aro...

Re: YN 146 Specs and Capability

The pump isn't really enough to power much. On top of that, you'd have to run new lines... If you can fab up a light chipper to run off the rear PTO (find the right speed and rotation chipper parts), then you might get it to work. But I wouldn't put a Cat1 implement on any of my YM146's and I have 4...

The YM146 wasn't made in 1987...

If Hoye doesn't have it, call Gary Jamieson at Jamieson Tractor in PA.

Why in the world would you need one of those?

Gary jamieson would probably be your only hope other than buying a parts tractor.

Re: Why are some Yanmar Tractors Green and some Red?

They're all big fans of Christmas colors.... ;)

Companies change engine/frame/etc colors all the time. Pontiac did it on their engine colors, ect. It happens for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes its a discount on paint, sometimes the new GM/CEO wants to put his stamp on something.
